It's ok.  I'm always asking about small Laurel Line details that are long gone in history's past. But you never know, one person may have an answer.

I've been working on a side project of mapping the Laurel Line in Google Earth. So far I mapped the railroad ROW and all the stops. I wanted to map all the coal breaker that were close to the Laurel Line. This is the list I have so far going south to north.

After that I'm lost. Does anybody know of any breakers north of Heidelburg?

Just south of Rocky Glen Park was the Jermyn Coal Company Breaker in Moosic. (Photo below is from Ed Miller and appears in the DVD mentioned below.

By the way, "Ed Miller's A Ride On the Laurel Line" DVD is now available on the Laurel Lines website.

Thanks! I found the location of that breaker and added it to the map. Where there any more on the northern end?

I was looking for breakers on the northern end of the Laurel Line and I came up with this question...

The picture below is a 1939 photo of what will be the Minooka Branch. I spotted two areas that might be coal breakers. These are marked with white arrows. Anybody know what these are?

Last Friday we hiked down to Connell Jct. Here's Philadelphia Suburban 76, southbound at the old bridge abutments.

I still haven't figured out what this was. It's at the bottom of the Minooka Branch at Virginia.

If it's tall enough, it could be a loading ramp or platform.

We had a chance to check out Rocky Glen park today, didn't find the station, but I think we were close to it. Got another photo of the row across the lake.

I don't think I'd walk across this makeshift bridge along the row.

rocky glen station was located about 50 feet from where the fence was put up that closed off the row and the park. you can see where the tracks used to run by the dirt paths as there were around 5 or 6 tracks there.

I was also lucky enough to get a front view. This was only the second time we've seen this along the Laurel Line tracks.

We caught Philadelphia Suburban 76 on it's first run of the season this morning at Cedar Avenue, near the site of the Laurel Line station in Scranton.

The second run didn't go smoothly, the trolley derailed just north of the Brady Yard.
