Hi I need help with my Galaxy Express Train setting, it's set in currently in North America railways system. It's a Sci-Fi setting like Spider Roberson's Bar books.

The Steam Locomotive is name Stanley Steamer, yes I know it was a car, but if a Dragon can be name a Locomotive as well.

Engineer: Casey Jones (yes he is a alive and kicking)

Conductor: an Alien in Human form

First: I need to know the most powerful Steam Engine not the heaviest but in pulling power,

Second: I need some sort of fire source that burns for an unlimited time, like a Star but compressing it would cause a Black Hole but that even would be too big. Atomic power would make the Loco an H Bomb,

You will get a lot of argument about "most powerful", and it makes a HUGE difference if you factor in speed and track profile in terms of what will work. But a 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone, maybe, or a N&W Y 2-8-8-2.

As to power, ain't nuthin that will meet your requirement. Either stop every so often for water and oil or coal, or go nuclear. A fission plant would run for years and only be an A-bomb (not really, but if you ruptured the containment vessel would be a nasty mess).

what about the PRR T1 Duplex Drive 4-4-4-4, this Steam Locomotive is streamlined which is prefect for my Galaxy Express it was one most advanced and hardest Engine to drive.

The other problem is the Passenger Cars, which half is normal Streamlined the other half are mix of private Cars used by the Train crew and the Riders it were they live.

the cost of a Ticket and meals is what you can afford to pay,

lot's of streamlined engines. Santa Fe Blue Goose 4-6-4. Milwaukee Road A (4-4-2) and F (4-6-4). C&NW 4-6-4. Many others. For power in a passenger engine, I'd likely go with N&W J-class 4-8-4, which except for duplex drive were easily as advanced as PRR Ts. And VERY capable.

If the cars are normal passenger (and PVs are normal except for being classified as private and usually nicely set up), HOW MANY? 15? 20? Passenger trains, for a number of reasons seldom carried over 20 cars..

I've got to figure out the layout of this Train, as told before the Train is devived between those that are Riding to those who know were there going since this Train stops at ever stop needed.

Now the Golden Spike Lounge Cars which is Two Cars long, it holds on the walls all the Golden Spikes in North America railways it's also the source of the train's so called magical like powers.

Given the fact now that current Passenger trains is like riding on Passenger Bus, most of the time you have to bring your own food. I hear also there ricky as well,

Dunno about that current passenger trains being "like riding on a bus" - my experience is they aren't. more space. Access to lounge cars. Access to snack bar (usually associated with lounge cars). Access to diner - though you do see people bringing food along - which is pricey.

Even light rail and commuter rail is a way of travel with more room than a bus, city or long distance.

Well like Doctor Who's Tardis the Galaxy Express Train is alot bigger in the inside then outside,

This setting is inspired by Spider Robinson's Callahan's Series,

Also there Two type of people aboard this Train those are going somewhere and those who just ride and live on the Train,

I also need help with the Streamlined Passengers Cars, but not the Budd Metroliner Cars or AMFleet, ViaRail did save some Dome Cars and Streamlined Cars.
