NS defect detector moved

Hi all,
I live near the NS Pittsburgh Line.(Approximately MP 321)  There used to be a defect detector at 320.8.  I haven't railfanned in a long while and while listening to my scanner recently, I found that they moved the detector east to 317.8.  Does anyone have an idea why they move it?  Just curious.

MP 317.8?

That must be in the general vicinity of 'AX', where the New Alexandria Branch went North from the as-built Mainline, and where the new 4-track line went Eastward, to Latrobe

just a guess, but moving it 3 miles Eastward would give Westbound trains that tripped the detector another 15,000' to get-stopped, without trying to do-so going down the grade at Radebaugh, or fouling 'RG' / CP-Rade at the base of that hill

do you have a link, to listen to that detector, as the one I used-to have no-longer works

' formerly' Milepost 322 of the late, great Pennsylvania Railroad.
