B&P 452, OHCR 4602, B&P 461, and I&M 40 southbound in Carrollton, NY heading for Bradford, PA on the SIJB road train.

Apparently B&P intends to remove the Johnsonburg to Ridgway segment of their St Marys secondary line, and put this truss bridge over the Clarion River north of Ridgway proper back into service to continue service to the few industries remaining on the line. This would eliminate most of what is a redundant setup, with two B&P lines running on each side of the river south of Johnsonburg. This bridge has a build date of 1899.

I'd say early in the month, right after the New Year's thaw...

Well it's no fun if you look up the file information...

It's from the last batch of B&P photos that I have, and now that I'm back to work on 1:1 scale I spend a vastly disproportionate time sitting in the hotel room, since our railroads' motto is "hurry up and wait". Just thought I would stir up a stagnant thread...

The data didn't give me the location.  Been there many, many times.  Need to get back there again.

Grabbed this shot in Dubois on a trip to Lowes. (I was in my Jeep, and the camera's antishake gave up it seems)

Times were differnt in the 90s. Nobody seemed to care that some dumb high school kid was looking around. Today a nice sign greats visitors at the top of the hill with NO TRESPASSING on it.

I agree! I work for the RBM&N in eastern Pa. and have noticed the change here too.

The Warren Yard was my old stomping ground as a teen when it was the Allegheny RR.

I've been thinking about this since the new to them power came in.  Are the Tunnel Motors going to be painted or no?

B&P (G&W) never put repaints high on the list, but the new SD40-3s have been getting paint so at some point yes everything will get a coat or just be retired.

Is it true that B&P is going to try again with some more SD90s?
