Thats an awesome shot of the coaches at the station in the downpour...
 
Shame the weather didn't cooperate. The Civil War trains used to be sell outs.

The first train was pretty full. I don't know about the second train. I was too busy watching them couple the 915 on the rear of the second train to know the "population" of that train.

2nd trip looked dead empty. Maybe 100 people with caboose parties.
 
Back in the day, they'd have 5 coaches packed to the gills for Civil War trains, same with Wild West days.
 
Easily get over 1000 people a day. Used to be a 2-day weekend for Civil War.
 
Thats the one bad thing about down there, if it rains, you can forget anyone coming to ride.

No, it's not bad,  but I don't know where they were all sitting cause it sure as hell looked empty.
