The 4-4-0, as well as the "Pug-faced" 0-6-0 looked very nice today, pulling and pushing thier train along the line.

The friendly crew of #58 was kind enough to let me up in the cab for a few minutes.

Nice shots, Adam.  Really tough to get well-lit locations.  Those glimpses thru the trees are about the best we get, tho I hear that the lighting opportunities are slightly better up toward Hokessin.

Love the pictures and love the new angles. Great pictures all around PennRailVideos. Maybe I'll try those angles whenever I go up there. If I go up there. When ever we set a date to go up there we always have something else to do .

Great video, Adam!

But you know it's dangerous to lie in the gauge when the train's passing overhead.

You were there Charlie? I'll be! I just happen to be running around with a camera and tripod myself. Nice shots, I especially like that one at Mt. Cuba. I'm glad you and your family had fun; W&W is a very nice place for a family outing.

I'll post a few shots as well.

Always loathed that Marker....."the B&O operated the line until the 1920's"....what happened to the remaining 60 years of the RR until the W&W purchased it in 1982? †

I've noticed many historical markers actually are lacking correct information...they just take excerpts from info given and put it on the sign without any though as to the reader's quest for the true historical info, albeit abbreviated.

Anyway, Nice shots Adam. Nice Video too....I see they were putting down the spare tire on 58.

Really like the shot at Spring Valley Road.

Very Nice Video and Pictures Adam. I really like the ones just showing the engine with the brush hiding the rest of the train. This seems like a fun event. Iím not sure how far W&W are from Long Island Though. I donít think it is a day trip like the BRW but Iíll have to check.

Anthony, W&W is atleast an hour and a half south of the BR&W. It would in turn take longer to get there from Long Island.

Remember, W&W is in Wilmington DELAWARE (it says so in the video!).

Just saw that today (June 1) was another Pufferbelly Day. Sadly, I'm swamped with work and didn't go. Did anyone attend?

I guess you missed this:

THE JUNE 1st PUFFERBELLY DAY IS CANCELLED!   Only steam engine #98 and diesel #114 will be on the train. The diesel should be on the rear of the train as a helper. Steam engine #58's rebuild didn't get completed. A test firing was done this past week, but the engine still had some issues needing to be addressed.  Steam engine #98 and train will still be making three trips to the Mt. Cuba Picnic Grove, departing Greenbank Station at 12:30, 2:00, and 3:30 pm.

You didn't miss a thing.

A few photos from yesterday's Pufferbelly celebration... we arrived as the 2pm run was returning to Greenbank, so we had time to grab a few pix before riding the 3:30 trip. Couldn't resist a family pic with the locos as a backdrop.
