When the train came to a stop, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the passengers clapping.
But considering what has been done in under four years, the railroad truly deserves it

Nice stuff Jon! I'm so proud of the W&W. They are such a great railroad.

Great pictures Jon. I like the banners at the front of the engine. The W&W are really looking good. I hope to visit it soon

Excellent series, Jon... and a real tribute to the dedication of the W&W's tireless volunteers.

Hey everyone,

I made it down to the W&W today, and I had quite a blast.

The "Veterans Locomotive". There's something I really like about 58, I just can't put my finger on it.

The Veterans Locomotive was slowly marching up the hill, as the grade is over 1% coming through this area. Boy was she talkin'!

Coming into the farm area, just before Barely Mill Road, 58 eases her train through the grade crossing. This is the longest section of striaght track on the entire W&W, being over a mile in length.

I rode the train up to Mt. Cuba too. It was great, but I have only one complaint: They're a little on the strict side. I was taking a shot from the open car, and I had to stand up, and right in the middle of the scene, one of the trainman told me to sit. I know I'm probably going a little overboard, but the least he could've done was waited till I was finished, then told me. Oh well, I still had a great day (other then getting bit or stung by whatever bit or stung me).
