A small but intresting photo of true "Southern" steam on the W&W.

In this shot from 1979, you see at the W&W Marshalton Shops; Former Gulf Mobile and Nothern 4-6-2 #425 (now on RBMN), Alabama, Birmingham and Atlantic 0-6-0 #58 (not operable then but now is mainstay of Steam) and Southern Railway's 2-8-0 #722 (which was on lease to the W&W)

Interesting photo, NHIWW. Thanks for posting it. Here's an "artsy" photo my dad took of Jeremy standing on diesel No. 8408 at Mount Cuba in August 2002. She sure is one fine engine.

Here's another view at the Marshallton Yard. No. 98 sure is one beautiful locomotive.

Great shot Chris! That car really makes it look historic! Great job! Was that just luck?  I would never get that lucky!

Thanks for the compliments, guys! My computer got infected with a virus a few days ago, and after it got repaired we installed a new and updated version of HP Image Zone. Here is an artsy test of some of it's new features. 5/15/05
