I spent 3 days trackside last weekend. Days #1 and 2 were spent with NS (and can be seen in that subforum), while Day #3 was spent with the B&H.

Making a pick-up at the water track in Painted Post:

Approaching Robert Dann Drive in Coopers Plains:

Idling at Mill Street in Coopers Plains:

Crossing the Cohocton River in Cooper Plains:

Westbound at Smith Hill ROad in Coopers Plains:

Slowing down at the Eagle Valley Road crossing in Blessing (Savona), as the train
approaches a gas dealer it services:

A complete slide show of the day's chase:

All photos in this post and the link were taken by me Monday 4/17/2017. As always, a big thanks goes out to the crew of the B&H for their professionalism and friendliness.

I particularly like the angle you found in the last shot. Of course, the whole set is excellent! THX.

Your photographic efforts are ALWAYS appreciated.....Keep up the good work for those of us who are too distant to be there personally LA&L is a little jewel in the morasse of impersonal monolithic (but necessary) large railroads.

Thank you, gents!

I still have my Sony point and shoot W370. It is useful for certain situations, but the Nikon L840 used on this trip is sooo much better when zoom is needed.

P.S. The shots at Eagle Valley Road were taken from an old bridge abutment. The road itself used go over the tracks when this route was the DL&W mainline.
