Since the LA&L shortline family is 100% Alco powered, a handy guide to the current loco fleet can be found here: http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/Scottychaos/NY-Alcos/ Special thanx to rf.net member Scot Lawrence for creating and maintaining the list!

P.S. I am making this topic sticky, so we can keep track of the roster.

Scot, you are very welcome. The B&H and the LA&L turned me into an Alco fan back in 1976, so this roster has a strong personal connection for me.

Hi Anyone have an update on the rosters and status of the motive power? In the meantime, here's an update on my roster. WNYP 630 in N-scale. nearly ready for decals. Cheers Steve NZ

I know some of the units have moved around and some are out of service, but has anybody been keeping an active roster?

The rosters look updated, including the return of #424 to Lakeville and #416 being assigned to Cohocton.

A few additions since the last post here to the WNYP paper roster. Most recent a C424 SFEX 4204 has been pulled from storage and is being readied for shipment to the WNYP as posted here on RF.net About a year ago a RS3u TIOC 506 was added to the roster and is currently being rehabbed in Olean. Anybody have any other updates to the roster, deductions or status of units that were stored in line for rebuild?

Ex-GB&W #319 is still at Lakeville and is undergoing restoration. The prime mover still works. As I recall, #320 and #321 were scrapped a couple years ago.

Not sure if I would put much into it, but caught wind of a rumor that the big 6 axles might be coming to the end of the line as they say. Plagued with mechanical issues as of late...
