These photos were taken a few weeks back, when CSX and NS seemed to be backed up at Tifft Street.
 
Before I noticed any stopped trains. I did take a moment to enjoy the fall colors in what used to be LV's Tifft Street Yard.
 

 
An eastbound CSX mixed freiught is parked in the foreground, while a parked NS eastbound mixed fregiht was parked in the background.

 
I believe the NS train was 14M.  
 

 
The NS conductor got out of the cab to check on his train.

Meanwhile, a westbound CSX freight arrived, and the eastbound CSX mixed departed,  as well.  
 

 
NS 14M (seen at left) sat while the CSX trains passed.
 

 
The eastbound CSX mixed freight heads up the former NYC and Buffalo Creek on the approach to CP Draw:

All photos in this post were taken by me  Friday 10/17/2014 at Tifft Street in Buffalo, NY. NS 14m did get under way about 30 minutes later- I saw the UP units in growing darkness on the Bison Runner at William Street.
