I went out to Buffalo to see Lou Gramm in concert last week. Given my recent successes in chasing trains out there, I spent the afternoon trackside before the show started.

My adventure began at Tiff Street, where a westbound CSX intermodal met an eastbound CSX manifest freight:

As a couple of the previous pictures indicate, a CSX local was also in the area.

It did have an interesting load:

the tail end ofthe locla passed the Buffalo Southern local, which was switching at Buffalo Creek Junction:

A light engine move on NS (possibly local H42) rumbled across Lake Avenue and GB Daimond around mid-afternoon:

The 5th train to cross Bayview Road was an eastbound CSX auto rack job:

One other goodie- an NS customer was shuffling some boxcars that were probably dropped off by H42 earlier in the day:

All photos in this post were taken by me Friday 4/25/2014 in Hamburg, NY. A parked CSX coal train (likely bound for Somerset) can be seen in a few of the shots, as well. This was a fun afternoon, and the perfect 'warm up" for a concert. I hope y'all liked it, too.
