I was just passing through the mimico yards and noticed some cars have been moving around lately. (saturday)
The old double deckers (superliners?)  sitting in the yards have now been moved away. Any idea were they went? And why VIA didn't fix them up for themselves?
And there was a relic CN passenger train park there. Its was painted orange, and had F units pulling it. The end car was interesting since the end wall was cut off, and giant glass wall place there instead and had seats facing  backwards so passangers view out the back of the train. What train was this? And why was it at Minico.
I later saw it heading eastbound out of Union Station on Sunday.

The old Metra bilevel commuter cars have been cut up for scrap after being too badly damaged while being transported by CN from Chicago to Montreal. VIA was never the owner of these cars.
The "relic" passenger train sounds like CN's business train and the glassed-end car would be the Sanford Fleming.
