Is this a CGI rendering as opposed to an actual photo?  Either way, I just want to say that the idea of using topo maps or plat projections, expanded to the appropriate size when projected onto a tabletop, to guarantee accuracy is a concept that had never occurred to me until the moment I saw your photo.  This is absolutely brilliant!  Please keep us updated with photos of your progress.

Impressed regards,

Norm

Thanks Norm,

It's a CGI rendering using Trimble Sketchup Make. I was able to get copies of scale drawings (including the contour map you see) from the Engineering Dept. in Ladysmith.

Will keep everyone posted on my progress.
