I think that BlackDog is right.  Your should try and get ahold of Bob Turner.  You certainly have the quality of pictures plus whilst there is a lot of coverage of the early years, the last few decades are a little thin on the book shelf.   I would be very happy to have my copy of your (yet to be named) book on the shelf.  My partner loves your pictures too and for her to get vocal about things like that is a sure sign of their quality.

Thank you for your comments. I do know both Bob and Richard. I have offered pictures to them both in the past to help with there efforts. I am pleased that I have been able to have time to sort thru the slides that I have taken over the years and organize them into some kind of order.
It has been a thrill to refresh my memory  for instance the picture I posted yesterday of the CP car with the Via car, I went Wow when I seen it. Did I remember seeing it. No not until I looked at the picture after so many years.
My pal Sidewinder has always talked about inventing a time machine, posting these pictures from the past come close to being able to going back in time. A time that I enjoyed being part of.

Showed the Ladysmith shot to my partner and explained how you would see a few tracks of logs sitting there waiting to go down to the dump.  She is really impressed with all your shots and says it makes her love the island even more.

LOVING the shots of all the RDC's...Thanks for posting them all!

Question though.  When did the Pyle lights come off the front door of the RDC's and replaced with ditch lights?

I am not sure what  year it would have been, there were removeable ditch lights for a while, then after 6134 and 6133 were rebuilt the were recessed into the front so they would clear when the cars were coupled together. If my memory serves me well.

Stopped by the roundhouse this afternoon, was expecting to find a lot track ripped out but I don't think any has? Here are a few photos:

New area cleared and leveled, future parking lot?

Gravel has been added all around the front of the roundhouse:

Tracks remain here:

Looking down beside the car shop:
