Unsurprisingly UP operations in south east Texas have been severely impacted. I have been unable to get out and assess many areas, but I drove from Houston to New Orleans on 8/31 via Alexandria, LA (all roads south are flooded). Trains parked in multiple sidings headed toward Houston. The Rabbit Line (ex SP from Houston toward Shreveport along I-69). Had multiple washouts. I stopped counting at 15. Crews were on-site to repair. I imagine most other lines had similar washouts due to high water needing to force an exit.
Additionally, no movement in the Beaumont, TX-Lake Charles, LA area for a few more days
