Hey guys just got into Oakland to visit family for a few das as I was hoping to get some pics/video of the MOARV (Oakland to Roseville) train. I heard rumors that it departs around 9pm, but I waited between 8-midnight and did not see it. I setup my camera behind the target store in Emeryville. One of the repairmen passed by and informed me that it will be leaving tonight around 6:30pm, which is several hours earlier than what several other fellow foamers have told me.

I'm hoping to spot it running slow (less than 15nph) for a time-lapse project I'm working on, but all the trains that passed me last night were going 30+ mph.

Anyone know what's going on with the MOARV schedule, and the best spot to get some good pictures before it starts rolling fast?
