I submit for your perusal this shot of Virginia Railway Express train #307 southbound crossing Quantico Creek. The engineer in VRE #V51, a MP36PH-3C, has things well in hand at 1714Hrs and is preparing to make the station stop at Quantico, VA on time at 1715Hrs on 3/29/16.

This view shows more of the area. Virginia Railway Express Train #309, southbound at Possum Point, with VRE #V61, a MP36PH-3C. You can see the Possum Point Power Plant in the background and the new track that is going in on the "new" bridge crossing Quantico Creek. BTW, #309 was also "on the advertised". VRE seems to be a smooth operation even though they are running on CSX and dealing with the track work.

VRE train #337 is southbound making the stop at the Alexandria, VA Union Station. VRE #V67, a MP36PH-3C leads the way on 7/15/16 at 1911Hrs. This is not a drone shot, but the view from the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
