Ok, Is there anyone who can identify this car and what railroad this car originally belonged to with its fast fading lettering? please help.

While I don't have an answer to your question I can report that item was on a flat car, HTTX #97458, in May of 2005.

That is a caboose from the St. Johnsbury & Lake Champlain railroad.  The cupola is still sitting somewhere in the yard. In 2005, it was being prepared for delivery for some other museum, and it was found to be infested with honeybees.  The bees were relocaed to an apiary, but the caboose was never relocated.

The cupola is up on the hill.  It's next to the extra stokers.

Was just looking at Northeast rails,stumbled onto this Steamtown Vermont pic.St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County Railway #53[Vermont based..]..Sure looked a HECK of a lot better then..Can't believe it's the same hack..
