Not long after the Amtrak train left the locomotive shop, clearing the switches, it was time to head West for tying up with other pieces and lay over for the night near the boarding platform for an early departure on Monday.

But other trains were still on the move.   Here, we see the Scranton Ltd is backing across the diamond to drop off the last riders of the day.

Nose to nose  

Lackawanna-Lackawanna

514 up close, and doing its thing by moving LV 353 to a service track.

It is raining again, time for that Amtrak unit to show us what she's got.

And onward she rolls.  This was the last photo I took of the day... Back to work I went in preparing for shutdown of the museums.
