Did anyone ever get around to buying this engine?  A few years ago, 3713 was sold in an HO version, too.  Anyone buy that?  If you did, please post some pictures.

I do plan to buy this engine. I just purchased the Erie 2-8-4 Berkshire. That had to be first since its a tribute to the first abandoned railroad I explored and how I caught the railfan bug.

Very good, Mike: I bought an Erie Berk in 1996, I think, but Ready to Roll in Miami sent the engine body numbered 759, while the tender was for Erie.  Which version and/or scale did you select?  When I unpack my engine, I hope to remember to post a photo in this thread.

The number on it is #3338. It features railsounds and an optional battery to keep the sounds active after dropping track power. Just bought it brand new and it is die-cast. Its a heavy locomotive and can pull some cars!

Five years later...

I see my tender is different from Mike's. It is the white diamond with the shorter, squarer letters.  His tender has the big yellow diamond.
