Neat pictures! Are those two steamers 2317 and 2929 (the 4-4-4 Jubilee) ? They look like them.

Thank You,

After spending about an hour juggling the photo around and enlarging the running board area, I am sure it is the 2929 and 2816, also known as 'the Empress'. 2816 is now beautifully restored and somewhere in B.C. Canada.

You aee right Borntoolate. It looks nice with 2 Canadian Steamers in the same paint scheme hooked up together. @ Canadian Steamers in the D&H yards foretell the D&H's future.

Great photos as ever Brian! That pic of them moving the 54 onto the turntable is cool, I've never seen them bring an engine in on that side of the roundhouse...pretty nice stuff you got there.

Well, I guess it was the only turntable lead available.
Why the only lead? Well, there was a small problem on the other lead earlier in the day - no big deal.

BTW - nice job getting the COACH back on track - just take your time (and bring lots of wood).

Added bonus: Alcos under steam. Ahhh, Well how about Alcos NEXT to Steamtown? Too bad I didn't get to see them smoke it up a little.

You should come to Steamtown in late fall early winter and sometimes the DL Alco's diesel engine are off and boy you should hear and see the smoke from these old diesels, theres more smoke than a steam engine.

My kids posing with 2124.  They both also posed with 2102 at Jim Thorpe last summer, and Tommy (the older one) also posed on the 2101 in Baltimore.

No. 2317 contrasts with the sleekness of P&W Bullet car No. 206.
