Nice! I should have some pix of my own soon, then I'll post.
When I read your opening post, I expected to see 3254 or 2317. But I'm glad there are shots of 425 out there, like your Dad's or your's, whoever it belongs to.

Here one with both 425 and 3254. 425 kinda reminds me of Strasburg's 90.

Visited Steamtown yesterday (June 27, 2004) at caught the #2317 pulling 3 coaches and also caught the trolley heading up a few excursions. Here are some pics from the day.

The first shot is the #2317 pulling out of the Platform, near the Roundhouse, blowing off some steam!

Take Care.
Jeff

Did it run around the train or did it back the whole way back?

Here's how it went down...

First, the train picked up the passengers at (I guess you can call it the...) Roundhouse Platform. They then pulled the train ahead to clear the switch. After that they shoved down to Bridge 60 and then highballed forward and up past the mall. I ain't too familiar with the Steamtown area as of now so I am not sure where they were going.

Take Care.
Jeff

A couple of years ago I think they were doing some kind of " shop shuttle " with the Baldwin 0-6-0. Maybe thats what they were doin. Wow, # 2124 needs some TLC because it definatly appears as alotta peoples favorites. Why is 425 painted in that ugly blue? They need her back in GM&O black!
