Along CSX's Chicago Line just outside Buffalo, I've noticed these signs consisting of a yellow square with a diagonal orange stripe.  Does anyone know the meaning of these signs?

This is an Advanced Warning Sign indicating trains should prepare to reduce speed or stop, as directed. It should be posted 1 mile ahead of any restriction. Falls under CSX General Rule 43.
