Hello To All,

I would like to Welcome you to the Rail Safety Board and remind you with all the resent changes with Mod positions etc all rules that apply in the other boards still apply here. This board is for info on Railroad Safety and incidents that have happened in the news and or personal experiences and more.

Here are some basic Rules I think we can all agree on.

-Please Do Not post anything that is rude, hurtful or offensive to others. We all come here to talk trains and enjoy ourselves. No one wants to come here and start reading garbage about themselves or other people. And also there is no cursing, remember this is a G rated forum.

-Please Do Not post photos that are not yours without a link as to wear they came from. I know with this board people may want to post pictures from places like CBS or ABC showing the accident, just give credit to were it is from

-Please Check your spelling and Grammar. It is not easy to read post when it is spelt wrong. I know we are all guilty of the occasional typo, but please make it readable for others to read. Here is one of many sites that could help http://www.spellcheck.net. or even use Microsoft word that is on your own computer

Remember, have fun and maybe learn a thing or to about being around RR tracks. †If we see something we donít like we will delete it or anything we have to, do to keep Railran.net a clean and happy place.

Or be reminded of things old but still applicable. Like - trains are bigger than you or your car. If the train hits you, you lose. If you hit the train - you lose that way too.
