Hello.  I'm new to the forum--I'm Cut-In-Half because the Delaware and Hudson bisects my farm, so we have plenty of rolling entertainment every day.  I've noticed over the past year or more that the D&H is in the habit of hauling empty auto carriers, usually 10 or more at a time, EMPTY BOTH WAYS, generally 6 days per week.  These empties are ALWAYS directly behind the locomotives.  I've got a theory about all this, but I'd be interested in hearing from others who have made similar observations.
