Hey I'm taking a trip to the museum to spend some cash soon, but this will my second time in the area, and first time looking for the museum. The RCT&HS site said the museum gift shop was in Temple Station. this is on the BM&R line down south of the S. Hamburg shop right? Is this the actual museum, or just a gift shop? Where do i find all the restored and soon-to-be-restored equipment? thanks!

The gift shop is in Temple, which on Tuckerton, Rd. between Rts. 222 and 61. There are some displays there, but the majority of the displays are a few miles up Rt. 61, at Leesport. Turn left at the intersecton opposite what used to be a school building and go down a half-block. It's on the left. Enjoy.

there is a line of equipment on display in Temple(Temple Station, Tuckerton Rd.) , the rest in in Leesport (Wall St. block behind the Turkey Hill). there is a couple engines being worked on in Hamburg Yard, but that is R&N property and not open to public - and due to trespassers, under constant surveillance by the Hamburg police, the Reading & Northern police, society members, and locals........ if you don't have permission to be there don't be surprised if authorities show up and remedy the problem....... heres Leesport....

This thread makes more sense for this subject. The track U-30C is sitting on is the one we plan to extend up to the museum site.

Eventually as time and funding permit we we begin to develop the rest of the site.
