Howdy fellas!  I have a set of headlights from a mid-60's GM loco and I would like to wire 'em up for the "high" beams on my hotrod.  I'm having trouble finding what voltage they're supposed to run at though.  I believe it's somewhere around 87VDC.  Can anyone shed some light (pun intended) on this for me?  Also, are there any online sources to find replacements bulbs?

I would also suggest contact with the Association of American Railroads for information on standards over the years.

Locos electrical systems are 74 volts. The use a multiswitch and resistors for hi and lows. Hope that helps
