The event took place earlier tonight, and around 100 people attended the reception, and meal.  The speakers gave a full picture of portions of Ed Miller's life to the point that you came to know him, even if you never met.

The Main attraction of the evening was viewing the films, color and black and white, Ed made of the various street car lines from Montreal to Washington DC, with several places between.  Other films captured steam fan trips, steam freight trains and the occasional diesel train.

A surprise announcement was made tonight by the Northeast Pennsylvania Regional Rail Authority, that the Crown Ave. tunnel in Scranton will now be named the Edward S Miller tunnel.  His memory and legacy will last for centuries.
