18N at Southfork Saturday night.

All the streetlights in Southfork around the wye cast an amber light. So I shoot and then convert to B/W in photo-shop.

I used the MOW shed to block out the lead units headlight as it would be shining directly into my lens at that point in the curve.

Here is one of my night shots taken in the summer of 1975. Picture was taken with my Pentex Spotmatic IIA with Kodachrome 25. I used the headlights of my car to light up the unit. (highbeams) the exposure was at F5.6 for about a minute.

Good try. You need to read the instructions on how to enter a photo once again.

Check out the back cover of the March 2009 issue of Trains. It should look familiar to us. Taken by Two23, I think he posted some other photos taken from this location a while back. Good job Kent and congratulations!

Here is a shot of the westbound signal on CSXT's Peninsula Sub at CA29.2. This was taken on 2/6/10 after some snow had fallen. There are many different ways to take night photos with differing results. My wife liked this one the best. It is all flash. A combination flash and time exposure version can be found here.
