Nice pic.  When was that taken? Reason I ask, I photo'd the 2317 pulling into Moscow July 4th (the 11:00 a.m. run).

It was taken last Friday on the afternoon (2:00) run.  I had to stick my camera (which has one of those TV screen-type viewers, which come in handy at angles like that) out of the window to aviod getting showered by cinders.

Thanks for the info.  Yeh, those curve shots are pretty cool.  Took this one on the New Hope & Ivyland in April 2002...no cinders though...they were running diesel on that train.

That was for the April 2002 semi-annual railfan weekend.  The freight cars were added, I believe, just for the run-by's.

Yeh, one thing I'm really gonna miss about Conrail is the way their blue scheme jumps out of a fall or winter pic.
