Historic postcard views of the old Chicago stations/terminals.
 
With the exception of UNION STATION and the headhouse of the former DEARBORN STATION, none of the other magnificent structures depicted here exists today.....

The vintage views seen in this thread of the long-gone GRAND CENTRAL in Chicago serve to remind us that nothing is forver......and that yesterday's commonplace becomes today fond memory.
 
Unlike diamonds, historic rail facilities are NOT forever.....
