Have to wonder how many (other than railfans and maybe a few railroaders) know what the name refers to...

I'm kinda surprised, I figured somebody other than us has taken a NJT/Metro North train past here, or maybe a fan trip behind 611 or 2124 in years past, and would know this.....

Tried to catch the 614 at this location (one of the 1997 runs), but missed him by about 10 minutes; caught this westbound just before I left for Port Jervis.

Just read this more slowly (and paid attention to the numbers). I assume you mean 614, and either 759 or 765; I know 611 never ran here, and 2124 ran nearby, but not here.

I think

BM&R 425 also ran here in 1986. This is still known as the "O&W bridge". Location is Campbell Hall NY.

Marty - You are correct, I did mean C&O 614, NOT N&W 611........I could also be wrong about he RDG T-1 number, but a T-1 did make a PJ trip out of Hoboken in the 1990's, along with the aforementioned BM&R 425. NKP 765 was before my time, though! I also enjoyed Budd Cars here, too.

NEFAN - Yes indeed, I knew you'd be one of two people right off the bat who'd know this place! For those of you not from the area, this is the Erie's "O&W Bridge" at the west end of Campbell Hall Yard, named for the crossing of the O&W mainline on the section between Middletown and Campbell Hall.

Here it is with tracks on top AND underneath.....

Oops, here's the uncropped version.......NJT/Metro North locomotive is facing in an westbound direction, from what I can tell from NEFAN's Conrail shot bridge angle, and as engines usually push cab cars eastbound. Angle/direction is open to interpretation!
