Just in front of the Catskill is the sign welcoming home those who served overseas in WWII.  Splashed across the ferry docks it was easy to read as the ships carrying troops sailed up the Hudson River to disembark at the piers in New York City.

Really nice. And, of course, we all have seen similar signs welcoming home the WWII troops. Which opens up wounds to the veterans of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam conflict. No such thing happened there. Being a Vietnam era veteran myself, I can sympathize with them. It would have been nice to have seen such signs, but no luck.
