Here is a pic of my Mogul on the highline after the lead truck was damaged, and I was blowing the boiler down.

A few of us went out to NEOLS today since it was a beautiful day.  All together there were 5 steamers fired up and only one diesel!  Here are a few pictures I took.  The only steam engine I did not get a pic of is my Mogul, which still has a problem with the lubricator.  I only took it around once when I saw it stoped pumping oil again.

My friend George had me fire up his 4 3/4 inch gauge Atlantic.  It is a lot easier to light a fire on the firebox on his Atlantic then the small firebox in my engine.  I was also lucky enought to have George let me run the Atlantic for about an hour and a half.

We all had a really good time today.  It will most likely be the last run except for the Day After Thanksgiving run this year.

Here is a pic of George's Atlantic before I brought it out of the steaming bay.

Brian running his dad John's 7.5 inch gauge 0-4-0.  This was the first 7.5 inch gauge engine I ran.

Brian's 3.5 inch gauge Virginia.  He fires the engine on alcohol.  This winter we are going to convert my Mogul to alcohol like his engine.  Brian was nice enough to have me run his engine to see if I like alcohol firing.  It is very nice and easy engine to run.

Today was the annual Day After Thanksgiving run at NEOLS. The weather was just great, it was sunny and the high 50's.  There were 9 steam engines fired up.  There were 5 engines on the highline and 4 on the ground line.  I am still having problems with my engine and was only able to make 2 laps around the track.  Here is a picture of it raising steam on the steaming bay.

Harry and his 3/4 inch Atlantic.  He got most of the problems worked out of the engine after rebuilding it, and he had a pretty good run with it yesterday.

George and his 4 3/4 inch Atlantic.  In the backround you can see a red caboose.  One of his friends scratchbuilt it for him, it is really nice looking.  I wish I would have gotten a good picture of it.

Don and his Virginia. He fires the engine on propane.  He also had me run the engine around the track twice.  The engine does run well, and is very easy to run.

This time of year it is a bit tricky to get good pictures of the highline with the sun in the position it is in.

Georges Atlantic, you can get a better view of the caboose in this pic.  I had the pleasure of running the engine for about an hour and a half yesterday.

Brian and his Erie Pacific.  He asked me if I wanted to run the engine again.  It was a great ending to a great day.  There was also a 4-4-0 and a 4-8-4 running on the ground track which I did not get a picture of them.  John also had his 4 3/4 inch Pacific which I posted a picture of before, but I did not get a pic of it.
