Love it!!  Steen keep posting!

okay, back from our vacation cruise and also back to work.  mm#5 is electrically powered so I've been working on ways to control it.  while i could just simply 'buy' a control system, it doesn't interest me to do so.  i'm currently in a position to learn about digital interfaces and microcontrollers...so, 'arduino' bound i am.  the arduino branded microcontrollers have been around for a while and are stable in operation with clean coding.  so, it's a learnin' i will do!

Steen:  Many thanks for keeping the inspiration coming.  Beer competition season is quiet now, so maybe, finally, I'll be back in the shop!

Moose Meadows #5 is back on the build tables again.  Work progresses in both Michigan and Florida!

Took awhile to heal and get mentally back in the shop, but i wanted to show some of the beginning pattern trials for the cast aluminum engine.  I started this excersize in frustration with the transmission housing.  The one pictured below is not the one that will be used.  The ford model t looks simple but...

What I'm showing isn't ready for prime time, but I have always shown my work warts and all.  Below is how the cylinder stack is coming along.

Yes, they are too tall, but l wanted to check the fit before doing additional recessing work and adding engine block nose and tail pieces..
