Thanks guys, it was great to finally get it running.

Wish I could have made it to the mini-meet.  There are some old friends I'd like to meet up with.  I'll have to live vicariously through your pictures and video for now. Still on for my visit visit in a couple weeks?

Justin,
I don't want to make you feel bad, but you'll have to stretch the hell out of your vicarious to even get close! There will be stories coming out of the un-meet for years.

Holy $%#* that video there is just awsome even the sounds alone just blow me away, and I don't mean the whistle either and its a damn good sounding whistle too!  But that stack talk!  Wow I don't know if it is just the speakers I have on this computer or not but wow!  I must plug this computer into my stereo and listen to that at full volume to get the full effect.  Thanks a bunch for posting that.

Thanks Anthony, I am driving trains tomorrow, I think I will do some more videos, maybe from track side.  Maybe with another 20 years, I can figure out how to edit them and have a mass upload to youtube like bruce!

Oh, as webmaster of the Train Village (RRMSF)...  I just updated our site http://trainweb.org/lprr/  and fixed some issues.

But in all this mess, I forgot I had vid's on our site.  So, go to the link and click pictures and click through all the "movies"

Enjoy, DEAN

This little video has notheing to do with "live steam size" engines. It does, however, have everything to do with special things happening in my life that I am so grateful for. But, the regular engineer in this cab is a live steamer. And has build a beautiful #12 Tweetsy engine in 1 1/2 inch scale. Just happens he is qualified to maintain and run 1-1 size steamers also. This video shows what happens when one "real" live steamer meets another "real" live steamer. There is no bull or make believe in that cab. Its the real McCoy.

Another one of those special opportunities that has come my way that I will be for ever thankful for.

   Take care, enjoy

Andrew Habasevich and his dad visiting the BCRR on my birthday, 4/21/07.

This is Andrew's engine. He purchased it last year when he was fourteen. Notice the whistle signaling, and checking of switch points as we diverge from the main line to the trestle line.

Thanks Bob and Andrew for spending my b-day with me.

   Enjoy,

Bruce, I can't help but say how great of a video this is. Keep up with the great stuff.
But it was really impressive as just how Andrew was running his engine. That running on the trestle, it just blew me away.

Once again, great video
