Well, it took a little imagination, a lot of figuring and a bit of sweat but with the help of Pete, I have transformed this ugly neked NW2 into a beautiful
0-6-0!

   Bobby,

Please tell me where I can get some of that "steam engine holy water" from. I'd like to sprinkle some of it on a few other diesels to transform them into steamers. Heh,heh, heh.

BTW, I understand that a certain new old Ford van is going to make the trip south on Sun AM, to give a certain 0-6-0  a ride to it's new home. I look forward to the trip. And, I can't be happier for you.

Here she is. Now this is actually an old photo from one of the other threads, but Moose is a little too excited for me to wait for a better one. ;p

Congrats Bobby.   That is fantastic,  sounds like steaming bays are going to be in short supply at the un-meet 09.

   Guys,

The following is a picture magazine of the 0-6-0 going to it's new home at the BCRR, and new owner, Bobby T.

Thanks Ray, I am surprised and humbled as to how this all came about out of the blue. This years Unmeet should be one to remember.  I know we are all looking forward to it. Now if I can just figure out where the starter switch is on this thing.........

   Guys,

this thread has gone into limbo, but not the new owner of this nice 0-6-0.
Bobby T. between finishing up on the roudhoue, has also been reworking a number of items on his newly acquired steamer.

here are few different angle pics that I took just yesterday.

Thanks for the update, Bruce.

Bobby, that little critter is really coming together nice. Just be careful that Bruce doesn't slap a big yellow diamond on the tank!

Bobby T's. 0-6-0 on a steaming bay last week end. Of course there are always things to do on a steamer. And, with the usueual folks crowding around the newly acquired loco. Bobby T. on the right, with winter
un-member Jim B. on left and Ron A in the middle.

   Fellas,

I'm going to make a vain attempt at getting this thread back on track.
That is back to the B&M NW2.

Bobb T. brought back the very nicely done car body for the engine yesterday. He had her sitting in the BCRR yard, and I could'nt stop myself from takeing a couple of snap shots.

This week Pete did some body work and sprayed the body with zinc-chromate primer. This is some good stuff.
