Brian has already pulled his engine off the line and waiting for the boiler to cool. Bruce is just about to do the same having brought his Atlantic onto the turntable. More visitors...

After a hard working sessin, this engineer's ready for a break. Coffee cup in hand, my kind of guy.

Hope you enjoyed some of the shots. My deepest thanks to Pete, Bruce, Brian and Jim. Their hard work in building this railroad did not go un-noticed. Truly a successful work in progress. Thanks for allowing me to actually run the Mohawk and Atlantic, an experience that will last me a long time. Hopefully, I'll be able to make a return trip to see what further progress you have in store for the Buckingham Central.

Hey Bob,

WOW! What a show man! Thanks so much for posting those!

Bruce, your engine is somethin' else when there's some good pictures posted of it. I can't get over how beautiful the '97 is lookin'. I really have to get down to Florida to visit you and your atlantic (and the whole Buckingham Central Railroad) ASAP!

That Mowhawk is another brute! Holy mackeral, in those close-up shots, it looks like a real NYC 4-8-2 is thundering down the rails. Man, what a locomotive.

Once again, GREAT show, Bob.

What's to say, Bob? Great shots of great subjects, obviously built by a great gang. Did I mention how great this is?

Best regards,
Greg B.

PS: Gonna be at Largo in March?

Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.

When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Pete, Bruce and the others really put on a good show and love to show their engines to visitors. Bruce emailed me and said that another 100 foot of track has been added since I was there. At that rate, it'll be into downtown Ft Myers by the time I return. I took over 170 shots and to pick out 50 for the thread was tough. I feel sorry if you have dial-up knowing how long it will take to view all the shots on each page so I'll apologize for that. I'll post more of the other engines and cars found at the station at a later date. I was up till 3 AM last night setting up the thread and I'm feeling the effects now. Back to work tomorrow It was kind of nice having these last 10 days off.
