Some of the old LV telegraph poles still stand next to the ROW:

All photos in this post were taken by me Saturday 4/9/2016 in Milan, PA. That's it for the LV related stuff. I'll share the rest of our trip in other subforums as appropriate. A big thanks goes out to Scot for organizing the trip, as well as for driving Ken G and me to Sayre. It was nice to see the crew again!

Hey group!
On 12/19/2016 we started a new Facebook forum for the discussion of the annual "Rochester meetup" tour! The link wont work here because its a "hidden" group, not open to the public..If you are on facebook, and want to join, send me an email to:

sscotsman at yahoo dot com

and I will add you to the group..

If you are not on facebook, and have no desire to ever be on facebook, dont worry! because this thread will not be abandoned. I will still post details about the upcoming trips here in this thread, once the details are known, and I will still post photos here.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone who has attended, or might want to attend in the future, any of these tours but is not on facebook? I would like to know how many we have.

(I know Keith Bednar isnt on facebook, but we have him covered already.)

thanks,
Scot

Hey everyone,
the date for the 7th annual tour has been decided!
We are doing "Sayre part 2", starting again in Waverly/Sayre, then going out to Owego and up the Auburn division.

We are meeting at the Fulton street crossing in Waverly NY, same as last year.
9am on Saturday April 29, 2017.
Then to the Sayre Historical Society museum at 10:00, in case anyone cant make it to Waverly by 9:00.

If you aren't a member of the new Facebook group, and would like to join, reply here or send me an email to sscotsman at yahoo dot com.

If you aren't on facebook, and never plan to be on facebook, no problem! this thread will remain active for sharing information.

thanks,
Scot
