So April 14th it is!
Thanks to John for the providing the map and thanks to Scot for scanning it. Speaking of which: C.I. pipes--drainage pipes?
          The two water intakes...for?
Shows a tool house, interlocking tower but no other structures like water tower(?) that relates to the concrete bases we saw by the west leg of the wye.

Meeting for breakfast before starting? Are we talking about 6:30 to 7 AM?

May I suggest that if we meet in Victor and then head out to RJ afterwards, maybe stay there to scout out the Hemlock branch as long as we are there before moving west and/or south again just to save time and fuel? Or flip it and start at RGVRRM and work east?

I would think at 8 or 9 AM would be a good breakfast time. As I recall, we met somewhere around that time last year. Papa Jack's sounds like a good place to go for eats, too.

A possible itinerary:

8 AM- meet @ Papa Jack's for breakfast

9 AM- check out the caboose in Victor

After that, we should visit (in order) the depot in Honeoye Falls, the improvements to Rochester Junction and finally the LV caboose at RGVRRM.

What do the rest of you think?

I'll trust your judgement on that, John. Please let us know if the museum is ready for a visit.

Should you be speaking of the museum in Honeoye Falls, the last I knew it was open only on Sundays, 14:00-16:00.

That could well be changed, however.

No, I meant teh RGVRRM on Rt 251. We went there last year. Restoration is underway on the new LV caboose, so we can see that and 211.

Thanks, John! As you suggested a while back, I think this should be our itinerary:

1. See LV Caboose in Victor
2. Rochester Jct
3. See new LV Caboose at RGVRRM

Do any of you agree? Disagree? Add anything else?

I'll try to have LV 211 up and running by the 14th.  Part of our mainline will be out of service due to culvert work, but we should be able to offer a short little ride.

We are making great progress on our new LV caboose (LV 95100).  As rgvrr said, it will be available for viewing.  Hopefully by this time next year we can take it for a spin.

If you are planning to attend the Rochester meet-up on the 14th, please send your E-mail address and cell phone # to my inbox. Even if you submitted those items last year, sending them again will make sure I have your current contact information. Thanks!
