Does anyone have any photos, diagrams, etc of the covered gons that were leased/purchased by the LV?

Or info on the 40' Dbl Dr box Car?

Or the roof hatches that were installed on the box cars converted for bulk grain transport?

Help please.

While manufacturers like Atlas, Micro Trains, Deluxe Innovations, etc. produce some great N scale models, there are limitions for what is offered for the "LV, LNE and CNJ". My request is based on the desire to be able to expand my current rolling stock roster to include some pieces that are unique or at least a little different from traditional offerings, while being based on actual LV rostered equipment.

So if there is any one interested, would like to hear from you.

There's a lot of print articles out there...  Have you used the Trains magazine index?  It covers many magazines (not only Kalmbach):

This TLDX car looks like it has been where it is standing for a very long time.....the wheel treads are black, indicating no use and the tree growing up inside the end, sure looks like a couple years old! Regardless, nice find!

Bud,
Thanks for the kind words.

But like others i'm just a fan, and if I stumble across a photo of some (unique) freight I just like to know the history for the purpose of adding to my n scale roster, and now, I have one more that is prototypical.

And another one spotted on the Allentown Branches Thread, a 52' Composite Gondola (War Emergency Gondolas built between 1943 and 1944). The LV had 250 delivered (Road No.'s 32600-32849) from Bethlehem Steel. As of the 1964 roster there were still 247 still in revenue service and by 1969 all gone. (The Dodge Valiant is likely a 63 or 64).

Starting in 1929 Bethlehem Steel Built 700,  70-Ton Composite Quad Hoppers (Road No.'s 41000-41699) for the Lehigh Valley.

Then in 1946 the Lehigh Valley started to rebuild the hoppers, replacing the wood with steel.

Stumbled across this at lunch today, 55' Well Flat Car, 3 cars built in 1913, Road No.'s 9951, 9952 (pictured) and 9953 were still in service and listed on the 1956 roster.
