The picture below is of the KMRR (Kyan's Model RR), LV 212 (Walther's RS2) arriving with box cars in tow and a LV 283 (LifeLike SW9) departing pulling a string of Airslide and PS2 covered hoppers. The KMRR is a †3 x 4, N scale that we (Kyan, my 7 year old grandson and I) have been putting together to put in this bedroom. It's a work in progress, as he spends more time operating than trying to complete the scenery, I have the same problem.

One last Pups. Since I was born in Hazelton, they were my favorite engine growing up. It is great to see that there are still so many out there after almost 60 years of service...

Man, I wish I could take credit for the super nicely detailed N Scale items but I have a gentleman in NY that custom makes the LV, RDG and WM items for me. If I only had those skill sets...

Nice job on the weathering! The model looks very realistic.

Hello LV modelers, Iím looking for a little more information on how to modify the P2K 50í automobile boxcar to more accurately represent the prototype.

I found this brief description and photos at http://www.anthraciterailroads.org/lvrrmodeler/freightmodels.htm. I know the sill needs to be modified, but itís hard to tell from the photos the dimensions of the sill. Also looking for a clearer photo of the end details. I have several kits yet to build and want to make the appropriate changes. Thanks, Mark

Gents,

Here's some photo detail for the Valley's 50-foot auto boxcars.

This study was made at Victor, NY in 2008.  At the time, the car was adjacent to the former NYC station and housed a business.  Humble apologies for the paint scheme...

B-end was tough to get given the car's location against the building.
