Go back in this forum a few years ago and you should locate at least two photos of it at work.

Pictured below is LV 93600, MOW wheel car and by appearance would say it was used formerly for TOFC service.

Interesting in that one end has a bulkhead and the other does not.

GF,   This is a former early milk car. Looks like its use here might be for the kitchen car for the M.O.W. train.

Attached is an article on THE GOODWIN DUMP CAR from the November 17, 1898, "Engineering News & American Railway Journal", the ORER for 1898 lists various dump cars, but no quantities.

The attached is an excerpt from the May 1907, "Mines And Minerals" from the article on "THE WARRIOR RUN MINE DISASTER" which provides the quantitiy and contents of the "Fire Equipment Car, 97006".

Pictured below is LV 90000, a rail grinding car which was designed and built at the Packerton shops to remove corrugations that have developed in the rail head. Pulled behind a locomotive at 40 to 45 mph, it can recondition 4 to 9 miles a day. Photo is from the September 1, 1934, Railway Age.
