Unfortunately, sources tell me that the Maybrook turntable was buried under Yellow Freight

Following a path from a playground in Maybrook led me to this NS track which leads to the Maybrook Administration Building. The tracks lead to Eastern Alloy and behind Yellow Freight. Eastern Allow still receives service from NS and one of the one of the employees or owners was nice enough to bring me in the conference room to show me aerial shots of the plant when Conrail made stops here.

Looking at an SPV Train Atlas indicates that this was once used by the Erie/WS

From the Eastern Allow plant, cross the tracks that lead to Yello Freight for about 1/2 mile. Turn right to a big path and the building will be here.

The Maybrook administrative building is four stories tall and the inside is still in decent shape.

On the other side of the roof, I noticed this large structure which I was told was the foundation of a water tower. I don't believe it is

Some folks in Maybrook told me there was an old station that had been purchased from the CNE and I just had to stop and see this.

The station was sold for $25.00 on January 1939 and moved to its current location for $50.00

Frank Amodio (veteran of the New Haven for 45 years) and sister-in-law
Jennie Iorlano - Gesso proudly display the picture of the C.N.E.R.R. station that Jennie's father Rocco Iorlano (another veteran of the New Haven) purchased back in 1939 for $25.00.
