*  Here is a pair of hard to find Tyco U S Army boxcars. Early 1960's. easily over 50 years old.

With the TYCO ARMY box car were made a matching flat car that carried 2 tanks and a Bobber caboose. Here is the caboose.

 Now I am sure I have put some Athearn metal line cars in this thread. Now in box cars they made three types that I have. forty foot single door, forty foot double door, and fifty foot double door. They also may have made a fifty foot single door. They also were made in two different roof styles. These are the round roof one's.
** Here are the 40' DD cars in Pennsy, in two different numbers. They were stamped out in both Brass and tin. You can find other metal box car alot like the Athearn ones. International imported some from Japan that were most likely copies of the Athearn cars. Only the doors stood out as being different. The made in Japan one's were not as detailed, and didn't have a round roof model. They were made in Brass. I took apart a incomplete made in Japan one for parts to complete one of these.

Here is a Vinegar Transporting Tank Car from long ago. As you can see wood barrels were used as a container to hold the vinegar. The shipper company name was the  
A.M. Richter Sons Co., Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I am not sure who produced this model car.
