Oh, the PRR Train Master-nine built and all made it to the PC era.  At the end, they served in the Columbus, Ohio, yard for switching and transfer service.

You can see it is too big to be turned. It is heading for a service track crossing the turntable.    2 of 3

Hi Tom, I noticed your reply a while ago and forgot to reply to it myself. My Sons kitbash and painting of a ANNA camelback 2-8-0. His photo also. I like it so much I put it in twice. Very representative of the breed of locomotives that fill the tracks here in the East at the turn of the 19th century. Glade you like it.

** This is not a look at locomotives being services. It is of the new Pump compressor and sanding building. We had a little accident and the sanding tower has been moved and needs a realignment. The sanding tower is made by MARX. The building is by True Scale, also Revell.

This is a view of the Retsof, NY engine house on my "Genesee Valley" layout.  The engine house was scratch-built by my dad.  A factory painted Atlas GP38-2 (Genesee & Wyoming 51), a custom painted and detailed (by me) Athern SW-1500 (G&W 47), a NE-style G&W caboose, and a CR plow sit outside.  The scene is somewhat close to the actual scene, circa late 1980's-early 1990's.  The Retsof, NY salt mine can be seen behind the engine house.
