A place to show your Locomotive Service areas big or small. Steam, diesel or electric. A nice place to photograph your locomotives.
* This photo is from my last basement layout.

Here is my current attic layout. Not much just two mainlines circling the open center. My roundhouse area. My Sons in Saylorsburg is much nicer.

I'm celebrating someone posting in the thread with another photo. Here is a photo I took a few months ago at my sons home of a few Of my locos on his Locomotive service area.

I laughed pretty good at the photo dedication to my comment! I feel the same way sometimes on here, even a quick "nice work!" makes the effort worth it. I do appreciate the updates!

Unfortunately, the Penn York Railroad staff has too much going on to get the diesel shop erected on the modules, but rest assured, when the day comes, the pics shall find there way here!

Whoooo! I got sombody that came back twice. Thanks for  the company. It can get mighty lonsome here talkin ta myself. I celebrate again with a photo from a real old layout back in the early 1970's. Back in the basement of my Metuchen home.
The value of the edit. today is 12-03-2012.
   Info for the modeler.
Locomotive lower left is a Silvine 0-4-0t. seen to lower right is a Lionel 0-4-0t. A Varney Old Lady and Mantua Mikado fill the seen. A HObbyline caboose is down in the left corner. Back in the day of the silver smoke box and green boiler.

I had an old Atlas turntable like that one in the small yard on my layout in the 1970's. Ahh the good old days...

Toptrain:

You aren't alone on this thread-I just don't have any photos to contribute at this point, as the layout is undergoing a very slow construction period.

On your last post, I noticed a very familiar single-stall engine house.  I also have one of those, and have a place for it in a small yard on my layout.  (Isn't this where Ed McMahon would lead the audience in saying, "How small is it?")

Alen ; Sometimes you feal like your going around in circles. Just like the trains do on the layout.
