WHAT A THREAD! Ok, the question is, how MANY would you all like to see that I have in my collection? NOT that they're all replica's (don't get me wrong, I did some of them when I was really young an wanted a few REALLY bad, BUT I'm working on those few improvement to be closer replica's) Anyway, STEAM and Diesel!

First off is a B&O EM-1 (yes guys, I know its not prototypical, as its built from a Rivarossi Big Boy, I did this when I was 11 years old! I just LOVED the EM-1 that much I wanted one, as close as I could get for the time, and I didn't care what it took.) So, its not a replica, but thats sure going to change as I plan to restore it to a Big Boy an build another from a Rivarossi Cab Forwards, thats been conventionalized, and a custom built tender. However, as much ashamed of the quality of work done to it, here it is......

Anthony,
Its as nice as it could be concidering what the loco was prior to what it is now! Anyway, THANKS!

Another engine from the Yellowstone Train Repairs collection....... A B&O EL-5, that was sold by Rivarossi as a 2-8-8-0. I have made many of these since I purchased that first one. Basically what Rivarossi done what took a N&W 2-8-8-2, Y6b, removed the trailing truck, and moved the bell and a few other details on the boiler, and replaced the Y6b tender with a OLD B&O 2-10-2 Vanderbuilt tender, and re-lettered it in B&O and added the 7165 cab number. I must say, the tender is as close to a B&O "Big Six" tender as it gets, but its still slightly wrong for the EL-5 Vanderbuilt tender. The engine boiler is wrong too, but whatever, for now it too like the EM-1 pictured above, is as close as its going to get for awhile.

Thing is, I built quite a few of these type engines from salvaged old Rivarossi N&W Y6b 2-8-8-2's, (currently I've got 4 of them!) Here's #7165 pictured!
