Although the number reflects an SW-1001, it is actually an SW-1000 or SW-1500.  It lacks the SW-1001's low-profile cab.

I was hopeing no one would notice.  Do they make the correct size cab?  Is it possible for me to sand down the cab to ge the correct size?

I've never seen the low-profile cab in HO, but I would, just for the heck of it, look at the cabs of early EMD switchers, since they are more rounded.

Through a generous "donation" from one of my dad's friends, I have added a few more locomotives and two pieces of rolling stock to my HO collection.

First, Santa Fe 0-4-0T #98 and a SF Wooden coach.

My Lehigh Valley # 319 GP38-2...

I have no track to set her on, because I'm in the middle of a layout rebuild....

She is a Proto 2000, originally with a road number of #323
